Get to know your country

As part of the "Get to Know Your Country" project, organized by the Croatian Association of Tourist Guides, and held on the occasion of the International Recognition Day of the Republic of Croatia, the Metković Tourist Board invites all interested citizens of Metković, as well as all other interested visitors, to a free tour of Metković this Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 12:00.

After gathering at King Tomislav Square, the tour will be led by licensed guide Mila Bulić and visitors will first get to know the Metković Museum of Natural History, and then the old part of our city.

This campaign traditionally marks the Day of International Recognition of the Republic of Croatia, and highlights the importance of national identity and rich cultural heritage, as well as the importance of the work of all tourism workers with the aim of primarily introducing the local population to their city and thus becoming ambassadors of its history and cultural heritage.
